“Closeout workshop”

in the framework of the project  "IDEA Generation Project: Inclusive Digital Empowerment and Awareness for Tajik Next Generation"  funded by the European Union.

Dushanbe, Serena Hotel, 24 October 2023: Project IDEA Generation Project: Inclusive Digital Empowerment and Awareness for Tajik Next Generation; A multi-year project funded by the European Union Delegation in the Republic of Tajikistan and implemented by the Branch of "Good Neighbors International" in the Republic of Tajikistan. It promoted youth civic engagement through a digital platform and create ICT job opportunities, as well as support students with digital skills, improve teaching materials, and remove barriers to education for children and youth with disabilities by removing immediate barriers to access to education and creating a positive, protective community environment.

The project duration was 30 months, starting from April 1st 2021 to October 2023, and implemented in Tajik Technological University, Tajik State Pedagogical University, Bokhtar Nosiri Khusrav State University, Kulyab Abuabdullo Rudaki State University and 20 secondary educational schools in Dushanbe, Bokhtar and Kulyab areas.

Purpose of the event: The project closeout workshop aims to present project achievements, highlight best practices, and share valuable lessons learned with national-level stakeholders, donor and beneficiaries. Additionally, it provides a platform to communicate, share, and discuss key government policy messages and developments that are specifically pertinent to the Digitalization, Disability, and Inclusion program within the country.

The focus on implemented activities and deep analyze of the project with reports on evaluation will be discussed during the Closeout workshop on October 24, 2023 according scenario and agenda of the event.

Participants: Representatives of government agencies and donor, representatives of public and international organizations, and commercial companies.
