Vision 2030

In 2015, the United Nations introduced the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, built around 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This global effort aims to address the root causes of poverty while fostering sustainable growth across economic, social, and environmental dimensions.

At Good Neighbors International in Tajikistan, our main priorities are eradicating child poverty and promoting gender equality—two essential pillars for building a just and prosperous global society. Through our Child Sponsorship program, we support vulnerable children and their families, helping them gain self-sufficiency and independence beyond our assistance.

Our Child Sponsorship program also empowers young girls with menstrual health education and practical skills, enhancing their economic opportunities. Recognizing that marginalized genders face the greatest challenges, our clean water and emergency relief initiatives are designed with a strong focus on the rights of women and girls. Beyond providing essential aid, we establish safe spaces where women and children receive psychosocial support and protection.
